The Royal University for Women (RUW) is the first private, purpose-built, International University in the Kingdom of Bahrain dedicated solely to educating women.

Admission to a programme of study is based on academic merit; the applicants grades during the last three years of high school and the number of spaces available in the programme.

The University comprises of four colleges, Art and Design (CAD), Business and Financial Sciences (CBFS), Information Technology (CIT) and Law (CL) and a Centre for General Studies (CGS).
